Though Parisians could not march this last weekend of the 28 – 29 November, they are nevertheless engaging in the global climate movement. Here are some pictures that show the amazing and creative engagement of civil society as COP21 kicks off.

Another creative effort included putting up 600 posters on climate change that were advertisement replacements and fake corporate ads designed by 82 artists across 19 countries to satirize messaging found throughout the Parisian streets.
