Please join us for SAFCEI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 30 July 2026, 6:00 PM (SAST).
We look forward to welcoming you to the SAFCEI AGM in person or online, as we reflect on the past year of faith in action, celebrating the collective work of faith leaders, communities, partners and Earthkeepers advancing climate justice, sustainable living, and care for people and living Earth across Southern and Eastern Africa.
We are thrilled to announce that this year's AGM keynote speaker is Rev. Mzwandile Molo, General Secretary of the South African Council of Churches (SACC). Rev. Molo will be with us in person for what will be an exciting opportunity to hear about his experience in faith-driven activism, social justice, community empowerment, and reconciliation across South Africa's diverse communities.
He is a and a seasoned minister of the Methodist Church with decades of grassroots ministry experience spanning Mabopane, Soshanguve, and Johannesburg.
He was recognised for his tireless work as a champion of justice, equality, and national healing — leading church advocacy at a national level and serving communities affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, and violence. His reflections will speak to the role of faith communities in building hope, dignity, and resilience, and in nurturing a shared commitment to justice that includes care for both people and the planet.
We look forward to welcoming Rev. Molo to the SAFCEI AGM and are excited for the opportunity to reflect together on how the church can continue to be a transformative force for good, faith, and justice, reconciliation, and care for people and the planet.
Please note that this is a hybrid event.
