We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN: ENVIRONMENTAL, MULTI-FAITH NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION
Under the management of the Communications Coordinator, the Social Media Intern is responsible for coordinating and executing SAFCEI’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Tasks would include the following:
Work with the Communications Coordinator to create and implement campaigns
Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
Monitor analytics with the Communications team to identify viable ideas
Create an engaging blog and social media content
Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
Provide event coverage
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Communications or related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Google+
- Experience in social media/marketing
Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
One or a combination of the following skills are not essential but will be an added advantage:
• Digital Marketing
• Email Marketing
• Video/Audio Editing
• Digital Design
