Civil society organisations picket outside Parliament to protest corruption

Several civil society organisations, including the SAFCEI picketed outside Parliament on May 22, as the National Assembly sat for the first time since elections.
A memorandum was handed over to the Office of the Acting Secretary of Parliament.
MPs were urged to uphold the Constitution, and put the people above their party interests.
The President was called upon to select a cabinet that is ethical efficient and streamlined.
