World Environment Day 2021: Regional Interfaith Dialogue

SAFCEI hosted an online Regional Interfaith Dialogue on “What does your faith say about restoring the Earth?” in honour of World Environment Day.
Our Speakers included: Archdeacon Dr Mark Marais (Christian), Merylene Chiterai (Hindu) , Hailey Fudu (Baha’i).
40 faith leaders from South Africa, Malawi, Kenya, and Zimbabwe attended. They shared their plans for World Environment Day and what we can do to restore our Earth.
Who we are
SAFCEI (Southern African Faith Communities’ Environment Institute) is a multi-faith organisation committed to supporting faith leaders and their communities in Southern Africa to increase awareness, understanding and action on eco-justice, sustainable living and climate change.
