Endorsement of the Request for a Moratorium on Killing Cape Peninsula Baboons

SAFCEI has endorsed the official letter sent to Minister Creecy from Baboon Matters and other NGOs calling for a moratorium on the killing of Cape peninsula baboons. The request sent by Baboon Matters is appended for your ease of reference.

As an indigenous species and as baboons are the closest living species to humans in South Africa, SAFCEI would like to see a country-wide moratorium implemented on the killing of baboons. This practice needs urgent review.
