SAFCEI attends the Muslim Judicial Council's Interfaith Meeting

SAFCEI attended the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) South Africa's Interfaith Meeting in Cape Town on 19 June 2019.

The theme of the meeting was: “The role of faith leaders in propagating civilized and peaceful coexistence between communities”.

The Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Aly Qarahdagi opened the event delivered a special address.

A reflection by a Muslim scholar in attendance: "The Earth is our Mother" .. "We need to treat the Earth and our environment with the same kind of respect and consideration"
