We invite you to join us as we commemorate the 8th Anniversary of the Nuclear Deal Court Case Victory on Thursday, 24 April 2025. We will reflect on 8 years since the landmark ruling against the corrupt R 1 trillion nuclear deal in the Western Cape High Court and continue our push for a nuclear-free South Africa.

Join a peaceful vigil outside Parliament in Cape Town from 9 am, followed by a film screening of the documentary Nuclear Aftershocks and panel discussion at the Desmond and Leah Tutu Foundation from 11 am.

This anniversary event will bring together faith leaders and partners such as Earthlife Africa Johannesburg, The Green Connection, Project 90 by 2030, and Koeberg Alert Alliance. It will be a powerful opportunity to connect, reflect, and strengthen our commitment to a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable energy future for South Africa.

RSVP here to confirm your in-person attendance. In-person attendance will be limited to those who reside in Cape Town and spaces are limited for the film screening.

Light snacks will be served after the vigil, and lunch will be served after the film screening and panel discussion.

RSVP here to attend the film screening and discussion online.

We look forward to seeing you there and standing together for a nuclear-free South Africa!
